CALL FOR PROPOSALS

The Alliance for Information Science and Technology Innovation announces that funding up to $35,000 is available for projects that are in alignment with the AISTI Mission and Vision.

Project Scope
The project should encompass the AISTI Mission and Vision.

Funding
Funding will be made available up to $35,000.  Based on the performance of the project, further funding may be available. Monitoring and Reporting will be conducted in the following fashion:

• Review and documentation of Project Progress Report on a quarterly basis.
• Review and document end of Project Report within three months of project completion.

Participant Eligibility
Participants must be associated with AISTI member institutions.

Selection Process
The Board of Directors bases selection upon review of written proposals.  Finalists will be invited to give verbal presentations.

Timeline
The project must be completed within 18 months

Applications
The Deadline for proposals is April 30, 2008.  Written Proposals should include the following information to apply for funding.  Please keep the proposals as brief as possible.

• Institution Name
• Project Leader Names and Resume
• Team Participant Names and Resumes
• Project Goal
• A brief statement describing how this project is in alignment with the AISTI mission, vision and strategic plan.
• A brief description of project describing methodology, approach and deliverables.
• Project Scope
• Timeframe
• Proposed Budget
